In the upcoming film “Beowulf”, a motion capture Angelina Jolie will appear naked, covered by nothing but a braid and drops of water.

Hollywood stunner Angelina Jolie has bared all in her new role as a seductive water demon in the big-screen adaptation of epic Old English poem Beowulf.

The 32-year-old actress, who plays the mother of evil giant Grendel, appears in the £80 million animated film wearing just a long braid, covered in gold paint and with hooves instead of feet.

In one scene, a digitally enhanced Jolie rises from a pool with droplets of water dripping down her every curve and morphs into a monster.

Director Robert Zemeckis, of Back to the Future and Forrest Gump fame, has employed the “motion capture” technology used to create Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, which transforms live acting into computer animation.

A 20 minute preview was shown last week at Comic-Con, a trade show in San Diego, California. The film tells the tale of a mighty warrior who slays the demon Grendel and incurs the wrath of its monstrous yet seductive mother.

British actor Ray Winstone stars as Beowulf and Anthony Hopkins takes the role of King Hrothgar, whose hall is under attack by Grendel. The cast also includes Robin Wright Penn and John Malkovich.

Brad Pitt’s lover employed a voice coach and an Anglo-Saxon expert to help her with her accent. The reaction to her performance, in which she says some genuine words of Old English, has been mixed.

Some critics say they were confused by the Old English, which was the language of the Anglo-Saxons.

Others described the sound as a “strong Yorkshire accent” while one said she was “a bit Irish, maybe”, reports The Times.

Beowulf dates back to around the 7th or the 8th century and is believed to have been composed in East Anglia.

Onlookers reveal she was “completely uncooperative” and left everyone handing around while she took off twice to get a massage. She was also “snotty and rude to everyone — behaving like a complete and utter spoilt brat”. She was also “smoking like a chimney” and might have had around 20 Red Bulls.

Britney even tried a raunchy pole dance scene which left her in tears.She was embarrassed to do her strip dance with the extras around. Sources add she was struggling with the whole thing. The situation was so intense that Britney stormed off in tears and was sobbing hysterically which led the director to call off the shoot send the crew home.

The source reveals, “she is a mess, Britney’s out of control and acting like a spoilt brat. It was embarrassing. “She needs help fast.”

Jessica Alba and a girl pal spend a Saturday shopping for antiques and furniture at Ron Miller on La Brea Ave and window shopping at Jonathan Wright and Company on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles.

After grabbing Starbucks, the girls went shopping at Neiman Marcus in West Hollywood. They sat on the benches outside, where Jessica sniffed her newly purchased scented candle and checked out her other purchases. At the end of their shopping trip, Alba drove off in her Prius.

Jessica Biel, who recently ranked number one in Stuff magazine’s 100 Sexiest Women 2007, is not prepared to flash her flesh on film and admits she has been overlooked for roles because of her no nudity stance.

Jessica said: “I’m sure I’ve lost some roles because I don’t do it. The other day I read a script that required some nudity, something topless. It’s probably going to be a great movie, but I just don’t want to do it.”

Although the 25-year-old actress refuses to bare her curves, she is happy to be thought of as a sex symbol.
