R&B beauty Christina Milian has been dropped from her record label Island Def Jam, only a month after releasing her third album So Amazin’.
Christina Milian, 24, was reportedly dumped by the music label after poor album sales, according to the New York Daily News.
The disc sold 50,202 copies in the first week following its May 16 release.
However, the Cuban-American star’s publicist insists Milian and Def Jam “mutually” agreed to part.
Her publicist says, “Christina Milian and Island Def Jam have decided to end their relationship due to creative differences. This was a mutual decision.”

According to the Daily News, Milian upset label bosses when she declined to record “SOS” (Rescue Me), which turned out to be a huge hit for teen singer Rihanna.

Now that she’s officially single, Hilary Duff is enjoying her newfound freedom.

Appearing on Ryan Seacrest’s L.A. morning radio show on Thursday, the actress and singer dished that she and her ex-boyfriend, Joel Madden, still speak to each other, but she is excited to be playing the dating game once again.

Duff even revealed she’d recently been on a date (while she wouldn’t say who the bachelor was), which she called a unique experience.

“I’ve never gotten to date before, so it’s kind of exciting,” Hilary confessed. “I’ve always just had a boyfriend, you know? I’m young!”

The 19-year-old beauty also joked that she is going to take advantage now and play the field for a while. “It’s fun. I kind of feel like a guy, like I can do it now,” she said. “But I feel kind of wrong at the same time.”
As for now, Hilary isn’t looking for Mr. Right; she’s just enjoying the time for herself and beginning to promote her upcoming album, “Dignity.”

Recruited by Disney to promote Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Year of a Million Dreams campaign, Leibovitz persuaded her famous friends to dress up as classic Disney characters. The first images in this ongoing series will appear in the March issues of Vogue, Vanity Fair, W, GQ, Conde Nast Traveller, Cookie and The New Yorker.

Because Cinderella is the favorite character of her 5-year-old daughter, Sarah, Leibovitz says, “princesses had to be dealt with.”

Scarlett Johansson was the first A-lister to sign on. She plays Cinderella, dashing down a staircase with the castle aglow in the distance. The image was photographed on the steps of the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial on New York’s Riverside Drive with Disney World’s Cinderella castle digitally imposed behind her.

Christina Aguilera will perform as a guest Doll at the launch of a new Pussycat Dolls Casino in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.

A VIP Gala opening is planned for March 3 and Dolls founder and choreographer, Robin Antin, is looking for 90 well proportioned beauties to staff the Casino.

A soft opening is scheduled for 01 Feb 2007. The Casino will also officially open for Feb. 4 Super Bowl parties.

In the past Carmen Electra, Christina Applegate, Nicollette Sheridan, Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards have teamed up with the dance troupe for surprise appearances at the Dolls Lounge at Caesar’s Palace

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer had a day of luxury together in Miami before departing together on his tour bus.

“Jessica flew in very early after a red-eye flight on Monday morning and spent the day with her boyfriend. They went to the gym and the spa before going out for the evening”, a source told Us Weekly.

The couple was seen having a romantic meal at the Shore Club’s Nobu in South Beach and spent the night together in the Four Seasons’ Presidential Suite, as Fametastic reports.

They were spotted boarding John’s tour bus to travel on to Jacksonville for his Thursday night concert.
