Jake Gyllenhaal works his boyish charm as he drops by MTV’s Total Request Live (TRL) on Tuesday afternoon to chat up his later thriller movie, Zodiac.

What he is doing to his arms, or trying to be, is beyond me. Superhero Jake?

Jake, 26, was interviewed by MTV VJ Damien Fahey at the MTV Times Square Studios on in New York City.

Zodiac opens in theaters this Friday and also co-stars Mark Ruffalo, Anthony Edwards, Robert Downey Jr. and Chloe Sevigny.

Katharine McPhee can now add VJ to her growing resume. The former American Idol co-hosted TRL this afternoon and will continue to do so for the rest of the week.

Eva and fiance Tony Parker recently sent out extravagant “Save The Date” invitations for their Paris wedding on July 7. That means they’re getting married on 07.07.07, the “luckiest” day to get married, according to superstitions. Here’s what invite said:

“Save the date for the wedding of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, the seventh of July 2007, Paris, France.

“Dear Family and Friends,

We are so excited to be celebrating our wedding with you. Once in Paris, please be our guest at a pre-arranged hotel Thursday, July 5th and departing Sunday July 8th. You will be contacted by our coordinators in the next week with further information.

The wedding is said to take place at a Parian castle up North called the Chateau de Chantilly. Eva is also rumored to have asked French designer Monique Lhuillier to design her wedding dress.
