On-again-off-again BFFs Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie hike up their mini-dresses as they continue to film the The Simple Life 5 at Paris’ house in L.A. on Friday afternoon.

Paris and Nicole were last spotted filming The Simple Life as “fat camp” counselors in L.A. last week.

We all know that Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie will be back for as camp counselors in the fifth season of the reality TV show The Simple Life.

But did you know that Nicole and Paris will be FAT CAMP COUNSELORS?

Skinny socialite Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte boyfriend Joel Madden drop some major cash at Barneys New York and Dior in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

The two lovebirds arrived in Joel’s car (BMW 745 Li) and walked in and out of the stores hand-in-hand.

The canoodling couple kissed in-store and attracted the attention of many other shoppers. Or, at least, shoppers who were kicked out of the store because of Nicole and Joel and forced to peer in through windows.

Nicole, 25, is wearing a cow print head scarf and toting around a red quilted Chanel purse (the same one that Mary-Kate Olsen loves). MK even wrote for the New York Times last month, sharing her love for the purse:

I have a large, red quilted Chanel bag that I borrowed from my sister Ashley. I wore it to an event and never gave it back. Luckily, she’s moved on to another bag, so I’m safe for now. I’m not quite sure how many bags I have, but let’s just say I have a few. When I find a bag I like, I tend to wear it to death until I become obsessed with another one. This probably happens three to five times a year. But I always come back to the Chanel. The size isn’t overwhelming, and it has enough subtle detail to keep it interesting.

I also have the smaller version in blue and in white, but the red is definitely my favorite. I don’t have a stylist — I’d rather just do my own thing and put together my own outfits. The chain-handle bag is the perfect accent to almost any combination I come up with. I look at everything with a designer’s eye, but I wouldn’t change a thing about this bag. I think that’s why it’s a true classic.

Best pals Nicole and Mischa intended on spending a leisurely Sunday together…a little lunch, a little tanning…but things quickly took a turn for the chaotic when Mischa, driving Nicole’s car after dropping her off at the tanning salon, took her foot off the brake for one minute and hit the car in front of her! The other car seemed to sustain very minor damage, but Nicole’s front license plate fell off! Wanting to get out of the street, Mischa pulled into a gas station, and seemed surprised that the other car followed, to exchange information. No one was hurt, but Mischa gave the couple her phone number and insurance information before calling Nicole to let her know what happened. Mischa then went and picked Nicole back up at the tanning salon. You’ll never guess what they did after to calm Mischa’s nerves!
