Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller are set to star in an action comedy version of The Hardy Boys, the long-running book series.

The Hardy Men will see Tom and Ben play brothers Frank and Joe Hardy, the teen sleuths familiar to millions of readers.

The pair will play adults, no longer speaking to each other after a falling out, forced to overcome their sibling rivalry and reunite to solve one last mystery.

If I can just get past the whole crazy Tom Cruise thing, I might go watch it.

Hollywood babe Jessica Alba has been hard at work been researching what it’s like to be a blind violinist for her role in upcoming movie ‘The Eye’.

The sexy actress will star as Allison, a young woman who starts seeing dead people after receiving a cornea transplant.

“I’ve been training. I wear a sleep mask and carry a cane to get around with,” Alba says.

“I’ve also been practicing the violin - it’s hard! It took me three months to figure it out!”

‘Dreamgirls’ actress Jennifer Hudson has been flooded with flowers from her famous fans including Halle Berry, Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys, ahead of finding out whether she’s won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar on February 25.

The former ‘Idol’ star says the flowers mean so much to her that she’s thinking of ways to preserve them.

“It’s all so overwhelming. I’d like to find a way of keeping this special time special,” she says.
