Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline have agreed on a set custody schedule for their two sons over the Christmas period.

The decision was made at a closed custody hearing in Los Angeles yesterday but details of the conclusion have not been released.

A source revealed that the court did not mention any plans to investigate Spears’ drug testing.

The singer and Federline are due back in court on January 23 for the next hearing in their ongoing custody battle over two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.

Kevin Federline, aka the former Mr. Britney Spears, has landed a “small but notable” part in Keanu Reeves‘ forthcoming film.

K-Fed will star in the thriller Night Watch, opposite Reeves and Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, according to In Touch Weekly. The film tells the story of a veteran LAPD cop (Reeves), who turned to the bottle after his wife’s death, is framed by his former mentor (Whitaker) in the murder of a fellow officer. Night Watch also co-stars POTC’s Naomie Harris, House’s Hugh Laurie and Fantastic Four’s Chris Evans.

This is not Federine’s first acting gig — the singer/rapper made a guest appearance in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation last year.

K-Fed is also said to be investing his own money to produce a second album. His first album Playing With Fire wasn’t a big enough flop for him apparently!

Britney Spears stepped out to support friend Kimora Lee Simmons at her fashion show Friday (02FEB07) in New York City where she told reporters her newly single status was “awesome.”

Spears filed for divorce from husband Kevin Federline in November (06) and has recently been romantically linked with actor and model Isaac Cohen. When asked by American publication People how she liked being single, she replied enthusiastically, “It’s awesome!”

The Toxic singer appeared in a slinky black dress and posed for photographers upon her arrival and was escorted to her front-row seat moments before the show started. Kimora Lee, who is the ex-wife of hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, praised Spears after the show saying, “Sometimes she gets a hard rap…(but) she is a very talented girl.” [Source]
