Keira Knightley is showing off the effects of her latest trip to the salon.

Looking a little bit ‘ballerina-like,’ the “Pirates of the Caribbean” showed up at the premiere of her new film “Atonement” last night in Beverly Hills, California. She wore a Rodarte dress and some fun two-tone high heels.

Knightley is quickly becoming a new style icon for the up-and-coming generation. In the latest issue of “Interview,” the British babe appears in a seductive photo shoot, showing off her curves.

It’s a 1940’s pin-up-style layout, and apparently her tendency for near-nakedness is a point of joking among her friends. She told press, “My friends actually have bets on whether I can do a photoshoot and keep my clothes on – and I can’t at the moment. I find it vaguely liberating. You will probably see pictures of me soon walking down the street naked.”

On becoming aware of her sexual powers:
“Oh, my god. I don’t think I’m aware of it now! No… I’m lying. I don’t know why I said that. No, I’m not lying, actually. I’ll just have an argument with myself!”

Keira Knightley has spoken exclusively to MTV News about the media’s obsession with her private life and body image.

When MTV presenter Shantha Roberts asked if the intrusion was annoying the Atonement star said: “Of course I want my films, my work and my career to be the focus.

She continued: “I’ve spoke to a lot of actors and actresses about it and I don’t think that actors have to deal with quite what is put on to actresses. I’m not in the media I don’t know why that is.”

Knightley has been the subject of gossip about her weight as well as her love life and speaking to MTV News said: ”I don’t really understand any of the interest into the other side of it. Maybe that’s my fault.”

Atonement is out September 7 and the actress is already being tipped for an Oscar her performance.

She told us: “Its getting great reviews people like it, that’s really exciting. I think if it got awards that would be wicked but if it doesn’t then I don’t think it devalues the film.”

The ‘Pride and Prejudice’ star will disrobe before plunging into a deep fountain and emerging soaking wet in a clingy slip.

The film’s director Joe Wright is quoted by Britain’s Daily Express newspaper, “I wanted to cast Keira as a woman, a sexual character. She’s only ever played girls before.

“There is a key scene with James McAvoy where she dives into a deep fountain to retrieve a broken vase. Keira emerges from the water and stands on the fountain’s edge. It was her idea to stand there for quite so long - but I quite liked it.”

Wright also claims the scene had to be edited to protect the 22-year-old actress’ modesty.

He said, “There was another shot of her from behind but we left it out as it seemed a bit too rude.”

Keira has flashed her flesh in a number of previous films, including ‘The Jacket,’ ‘Domino’ and ‘The Hole’ - in which she exposed her breasts.

She recently admitted she loves stripping naked in her movies and finds sex scenes “liberating.”

Keira is set to shoot an on screen threesome with Sienna Miller and Matthew Rhys in new Dylan Thomas biopic ‘The Edge of Love.’

Taking time out between takes of romantic drama ‘The Best Time of Our Lives’, the Hollywood stars frolicked along the Wales beachside and giggled like schoolgirls.

The stars are teaming up with actor Matthew Rhys for a steamy threesome scene - Rhys plays Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, who has two women competing for his love.

Miller, who plays Thomas’ wife, stepped into the role after troubled actress Lindsay Lohan pulled out over monetary negotiations.
