Since when did Katie Holmes design clothes? Katie, 28, made a quick run to a fabric store in West Hollywood and carried around — what looks like — the drawing of a future dress design that she might wear.

Despite attending a host of parties in the US over the last few days, Victoria Beckham was out again last night.

Accompanied by new best friend Katie Holmes, the former Spice Girl popped out to Spago’s restaurant in Beverley Hills.

In the absence of husband David Beckham, Posh appears to have persuaded Katie it pays to coordinate in the clothes department.

After donning their best glad rags for the Oscars celebrations over the last few days, Hollywood actress Holmes and fashionista Victoria dressed down and sported black biker attire, which undoubtedly still had designer labels.

Posh, of course never let the trademark pout slip – not even when an over keen autograph hunter cornered her (see our gallery below).

David Beckham’s playing contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy is now rumored to only be worth $27.5 million over five seasons, not the original $250 million income figure floating around the Internet. Becks sold himself short!

At only $5.5 million/year for the Beckhams, I hope those endorsement deals start rolling in. Or maybe Vix will be the breadwinner of the family with her new reality TV show. America does want to see The Beckhams move to America in reality TV series form!
