Pictures surfaced over the weekend of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and pop star Jessica Simpson vacationing in Mexico just days before a playoff game.

The couple were vacationing in Los Cabos, Mexico, with a few friends, including fellow Cowboys Jason Witten, Marc Columbo and Bobby Carpenter. The photos show the group relaxing on a patio and Simpson spending time in the pool.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips instructed his players to take advantage of the first round playoff bye and to get away from football for a few days, NBC reported.

But the vacation time has caused a bit of controversy, with a critical playoff game just days away many fans are asking if the players shouldn’t have just stayed at home and relaxed in Dallas.

At the Michael Kors spring collection show, the former Newlywed Jessica Alba took in the joyous spirit and cutting edge designs, laden with bold colors. And to top it all off, the soundtrack for the show was from “Xanadu.”

And one witness had an insightful way to describe the event… “Charlie’s Angels meets Greenwich country club. It had the flavor of the ‘80s with it’s A-lines, ruffles and easiness, but it had the classic preppy colors.”

According to fashion guru Avril Graham, “Kors tapped into the bare shoulders and longer hemlines that fit with the 1970s and ‘80s retro moment we’re having, but he alone owned the skinny, body-hugging knits.”

The ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star Jessica Simpson will undergo a gruelling physical training programme in preparation for her role as an out-of-work actress who joins the army in ‘Major Movie Star’.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “She left for Shreveport, Louisiana, on Wednesday (11.07.07). She’s going to be in boot camp for two days to learn how to do army drills and salute properly and that sort of thing.”

In the film, Jessica’s character is left devastated after finding her boyfriend in bed with her hairdresser. It has been reported the 27-year-old’ s celebrity hairstylist friend Ken Paves could make a cameo appearance for the scene.

Jessica recently revealed she was prepared to train intensively for her new role.

She said: “I want to get really fit for this movie. I am aiming to be able to lift weights in my highest pair of heels!”
