Claire Danes and new British boyfriend Hugh Dancy head to her NYC apartment after shopping for Italian food at a nearby supermarket. The acting couple, who wore matching outfits of jeans, black jackets, and scarves, laughed and walked hand in hand.

Claire, 28, and Hugh, 31, met on the set of Evening, out June 29. Hugh has said, “I am, however, seeing Claire. And today I live in New York, downtown, which I love.”

In addition to starring in a high-profile Broadway play (Journey’s End), Hugh has four films coming out this year (Evening, Savage Grace, The Jane Austen Book Club and Brontë).

Claire’s next movie The Flock co-stars Richard Gere and is set for a May 11 release. The Flock tells the story of a hyper-vigilant federal agent (Gere) who, while training his young female replacement (Danes), must track down a missing girl whom he is convinced is connected to a paroled sex offender he’s investigating.

Claire also attended the Conde Nast Travelers Annual Hot List Issue Party at NYC’s The Bowery Hotel on Thursday night.

In their first public appearance out together as an official couple, Marilyn Manson steps out with new young love Evan Rachel Wood in London on Wednesday.

“I’ve found my double, my twin, with my new girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood,” the 38-year-old shock rocker told France’s Le Parisien newspaper earlier this week.

“She’s 19 and certainly that’s very young,” he added, “but that’s not a problem for me. She likes the same things as me. She understands I like to get up when night falls and go to sleep at dawn.”

Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy’s frontman boyfriend Pete Wentz hold hands while out partying together at Hollywood’s latest hot spot Parc on Saturday night.

The on-again-off-again rocker couple were spotted kissing and cuddling inside Parc.

“They definitely weren’t hiding the fact that they were together,” said one onlooker. “They were making out a lot and they were pretty intense.”

Ashlee, 22, and Pete, 27, have been together since September 2006.

It’s been rumored earlier this week that Ashlee has found an unlikely music legend to help her record her new album - The Cure rocker Robert Smith. Smith will reportedly sing alongside Ashlee on a track to follow-up her 2005 album I Am Me.

Anderson Cooper made a guest appearance on yesterday’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien and shared about everything from offering Nicole Richie food to constipated sloths.

Anderson said, “I literally could not think of one thing to ask [Nicole Richie]. All I could think of was offering her food.”

For the next couple of months, CNN will have extensive reporting on deforestation, global warming, and population. Anderson, 39, accompanied wildlife biologist Jeff Corwin into the jungle one time to release a “really sweet” sloth back into the wild.

It doesn’t go exactly as planned, as the sloth starts to climb the tree but comes crashing down few seconds later. Anderson gets so startled, he jumps back and holds Jeff’s hand. It’s the funniest thing ever.

The second funniest moment is when Anderson starts flailing his arms, mimicking the falling sloth. A very close second.
