Heidi Montag is set to be on the cover of the next issue of Maxim Magazine and two of her photos from inside the magazine have already hit the net.

And in the magazine, here is what she said about whether the show is “real” or not.

The Hills is a show that’s 22 minutes long about seven people’s lives. It’s edited for drama, and there are editors and story lines. If someone walks in front of the camera, we have to redo the shot. So it’s not exactly how things always are. It’s not like The Truman Show. They’re not with us all the time, although I wish they were, because it would be a way crazier show. Let’s see how Lauren would look then!

This time, the backdrop was their local pumpkin-patch. And in between their smooch sessions, the duo got into the Halloween spirit and picked out a big pumpkin to call their own

Spencer found the particularly large, future jack-o-lantern, but had some difficulty getting it into the back of his little BMW.

Heidi Montag is finally ready to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The 21-year-old aspiring singer opens about her decision to go under the knife, enlarging from a 32-A to a 32-C, and the painful body-­image problems that spurred her to make a change.

Tell Us why you had the surgeries.
“I’ve always been very insecure about my body. My whole life, I looked at my chest and was like, OK, they’re going to grow. This is my year! And it never happened. I was less than an A-cup. I wore pushup bras, which cut into my skin. If I was with a guy and there was a girl next to me with big boobs, I would be like, Oh, my God, he’s looking at her! On the beach, if I was standing next to a girl with big boobs, I’d be like, I hate her! I hated my nose too. I have my dad’s nose, which is huge. It took up so much of my face, when I looked down, I could see my nose. I couldn’t get away from it!”

Were you ever teased about your appearance?
“People would say, “You have such a big nose!” And they’d make fun of me for being so flat, and say mean boy things, like, “If you nailed two nails in a board, they would be bigger than you are.” I was tormented. And when I was older, I’d want to be intimate, but I’d feel insecure. My boyfriends always had bigger chests than I did!”

A lot of people believe Spencer pressured you into surgery, since he’s made his love of Playboy bunnies known.
“He had nothing to do with it. If anything, he said, ‘maybe you should think about it a lot longer’.”

Take Us back to April 2, the day of ­surgery.
“I woke up, and it was like Christmas: I was a nervous wreck, but I was just so excited at the same time. Spencer said, “I’m so proud of you.” It was like he was wishing me well off to school: “Love you! Bye!” But surgery is a very big deal. Right before I went in, I was like, What if I don’t wake up? Oh, this is scary. Then I thought, I don’t care. If I don’t wake up, it’s worth it. I just wanted it so badly.”

Wow, now we’ve got paparazzi filming other paparazzi!!

Video/audio footage has surfaced of photographers talking about their paparazzi agency’s “set up” that they did with America’s favorite couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt from The Hills.

Heidi and Spencer, as first reported by Celebrity Babylon, have reportedly racked up a cool $30,000 for staging photos and their engagement for a double-page spread in a certain tabloid magazine.

“It’s an arrangement that suits both of them,” says an MTV insider. “They won’t be walking down the aisle, they will go through the motions of planning a wedding, and then have a big break-up that will get lots of press. All caught on camera by photographers, of course.”

Says Celebrity Babylon, “It’s a manager with a contract in hand, the dirtiest deal in Hollywood, the romance is a publicity stunt to make the two cover-worthy magazine stars and generate a significant side income!” Watch the video here!

On her relationship with former roommate Lauren Conrad: You’re going to have to watch The Hills but you know, obviously, we walk the red carpet differently, but you know, we’re friends. We’ll have to see.

Spencer on Lindsay Lohan’s DUI incident: I think it is terrible that these girls are the role models for millions of girls growing up around the world, not even just America.. They need to wake up and it’s not just their lives. There are so many impressionable youths that are looking up to them like, ‘Oh, that’s so cool to get a DUI.’ It’s like the new thing. It’s like no, it’s terrible. People should be drinking their water, be healthy. And I feel bad for her.

Spencer on the fairness of Paris going to prison: I took down the Free Paris campaign down [from my MySpace] once she acknowledged that she should have been in jail. I just thought it was 23 days and they were trying to make an example of her. At the end of day, she was just a normal citizen and she should be punished.
