Dr. McDreamy to the rescue!! Iranian actress Shohreh Aghdashloo will portray patient Helen Crawford in a future episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Helen is a 50-year-old doctor who is in desperate need of surgery because of a brain tumor. (I spy Helen’s Hermes Kelly handbag.) Dr. Derek Sherpherd (Patrick Dempsey, pictured) is somehow connected to Helen, and holds her near and dear to his heart. Shohreh, 54, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for 2003’s House of Sand and Fog with Jennifer Connelly, Ben Kingsley. But you all probably know her best as Dina Araz, the wife of a terrorist in 24. Grey’s Anatomy episode “Scars and Sourvenirs” airs Thursday, March 15 @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC. How cute is this picture of T.R. Knight doing a check-up on Shohreh’s tummy? Posted in Greys Anatomy, Shohreh Aghdashloo | No Comments »

| February 21st, 2007 | Kate Walsh: Grey’s Anatomy Spin-Off! |
With the ridiculous success that Grey’s Anatomy has pulled off, it’s no wonder there’s going to be a spin-off. According to the Wall Street Journal, Kate Walsh, who plays neonatal surgeon Dr. Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, will be headlining the show. This could get very interesting… A two-hour pilot of the show is scheduled to air in May. During Oscar week, a “World of Swarovski” exhibit, featuring Daniel Swarovski accessories, will be open to celebrities and stylists. (Images via Getty) |
