As a result of the guilty verdict she received in an LA court on Friday, Paris Hilton has parted ways with her long-time publicist, Elliot Mintz. In Touch Weekly reports the 26-year-old heiress blamed Mintz for her mistake, telling the judge her publicist had told her that her license was only suspended for 30 days and that she could still drive for work-related matters. But prosecutors disagreed. “This is about the fault of Ms. Hilton,” said Deputy City Atty. David A. Bozanich. “She knew [she couldn’t drive], and she did it anyway.” Paris is planning to appeal but 45 days could easily turn into nothing. Just ask former Lost star Michelle Rodriguez.
