“I’m just keeping my fingers crossed,” Nicole said. “Of course, I’m scared also, but, you know, I’m willing to face whatever consequences come my way, and I take responsibility for what I’ve done.”

When will the 25-year-old Simple Life star know her fate? “Probably the end of this month. I hope you don’t have to go to jail.”

A sympathetic Letterman wished her the best: “I hope you don’t have to go to jail.”
