But from what we hear it may not be her voice people fall for. One fan told us: “The album’s OK, but Scarlett is so fit.” Better not give up the day job, love…

The Hollywood sirens have obviously cultivated a close friendship since playing sisters on screen and were not afraid to show it as Natalie, 26, leaned in to lock lips with the blonde bombshell.

Scarlett, 23, looked more than happy to be the object of Natalie’s affections, showing off her cleavage in a 50’s inspired fuscia-coloured dress, while the brunette opted for an equally sexy black lace number.

Perhaps Natalie’s bold move came as an attempt to change the public’s perception after recently proclaiming herself as “boring”.

Beyonce Knowles turned up at the 2007 American Music Awards last night in a stunning golden dress - and organisers must have been holding their collective breath for her list of demands.

However, unlike such dedicated divas as Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey, Beyonce was not demanding anything more than the usual pop princess.

The former Destiny’s Child singer was awarded the International Artist Award of Excellence during the ceremony at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

In her acceptance speech she said: “I’m so blessed to wake up every morning and do what I love to do. I don’t take it for granted. I’m so grateful, I’m so honoured and I’m so humbled by this award.”

She is the first female artist ever to be given this recognition.

Beyoncé was also nominated for favourite female soul/rhythm artist but lost out to Rihanna.

And she surprised fans by moving away from her normal urban beats, performing instead with country band Sugarland.

Rihanna recently nominated for the American Music Awards Female R & B artist of the year, the 19-year-old “Umbrella” singer spent a bit of time filming an episode the Total Request Live, for which she brought her new puppy along.

Rihanna also took the time to attend the 2007 Cipriani Wall Street concert series with “Smack That” singer Akon.

And it was for a good cause, as the Cipriani series, which brings in the biggest artists from around the world, benefits The United Nations Children’s Fund and The Sarah Ferguson Foundation.

Britney Spears has announced the title of her new album, which will be released next month.

The album is entitled ‘Blackout’ and will be released on 13 November.

According to Spears’ record label, Jive, the title of the album refers to “blocking out negativity and embracing life fully”.

Billboard reports that a full tracklisting for the album has yet to be announced, but it is known to feature the tracks ‘Gimme More’, ‘Radar’, ‘Piece of Me’, ‘Break the Ice’ and ‘Heaven on Earth’.

Rose McGowan has some new bling. Spies in L.A. report she’s been showing off a new diamond engagement ring from director Robert Rodriguez. McGowan met Rodriguez on the set of “Grindhouse” when he directed her as a peg-legged ex-stripper in his half of the double feature, “Planet Terror.” He was soon divorcing his wife.
