CBS has just released two images of Britney Spears on the upcoming episode of ‘How I Met Your Mother’, You can catch that episode om CBS Monday, March 24th.

Britney Spears releases a music video on Wednesday that features the troubled singer as an animated superhero in a futuristic world.

The music video will premiere on Wednesday on dedicated Web site (www.BlackoutBall.com) at 6:30 p.m. EDT and accompanies her latest single “Break The Ice” — the third from her 2007 album “Blackout.”

The release of the video, along with an upcoming acting role on U.S. television comedy “How I Met Your Mother,” marks something of a comeback for Spears, 26, whose career has been sidelined by psychiatric problems and months of bitter child custody battles.

Spears’ Jive record company said the video was made in South Korea in Japanese anime style. Spears last year released two singles from the “Blackout” album which has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide but whose commercial success pales in comparison to the singer’s heyday six years ago.

Britney Spears showed off the disappointing results of an intensive home make-over session during a trip to Millenium dance studio over the weekend.

Last week, it was widely reported that celebrity colourist and Extreme Makeover consultant, Kim Vo, spent 4 hours at the troubled singer’s L.A. home working on her neglected tresses.

However, judging by Brit’s bedraggled appearance on Saturday, 4 hours wasn’t nearly enough time to tease the pop wreck’s weave into something resembling a decent hairstyle.

Sporting ripped fish-nets, tacky red hotpants, a stained top and her usual bedraggled mop, braless Brit hit Millenium with dad Jamie for numerous cigarette breaks, punctuated by a spot of dance practice.

People quoted Vo as saying of his Brit assignment: “Britney needed some help with her extensions and wanted to talk about a new color. I hadn’t worked with her before, but they asked me so nicely to help,”

After streaking her dark brown locks with a caramel colour, he said: “We wanted to brighten it up a bit. She’s ready for something new.”

The two then head towards the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, but along the way are struck by a wayward motorcyclist who reportedly was driving too close to Britney’s Benz in an attempt to gain a close sighting of the star.

The pop star went to a deposition Monday in her dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline over the custody of their two boys, according to published reports.

Spears drove to the office of Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, with a friend and was seen leaving more than two hours later, People.com and TMZ.com reported.

Calls to Kaplan’s office Monday were not answered, and a phone message left with Spears’ lawyer, Tara Scott, was not immediately returned.

Spears has had trouble making recent legal dates. On Dec. 12, she called in sick for a court-ordered deposition, then arrived late at Kaplan’s office on its rescheduled date, Jan. 3. That night, she was taken to a hospital after a standoff in her home when she refused to return the children to Federline’s bodyguard following a visit.

Spears didn’t attend a court hearing Jan. 14 in which a court commissioner decided to keep in effect an order suspending her right to visit Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2.

Spears went to the courthouse briefly but never went inside, and she left amid a swarm of paparazzi.

She will get another chance Feb. 19 to persuade the court to restore her visitation rights.

Britney Spears’ latest fashion faux pas was spotted by paparazzi who caught her wearing her old wedding dress while out with her new boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.

After a whirlwind two-week romance with Ghalib, the pop star has apparently told friends she wants to marry the photographer and convert to Islam.

The two recently feld LA for a romantic getaway after she had a flat tyre on Sunset Boulevard.

Spears, 26, has been in hiding in Los Angeles with Ghalib since her public meltdown last week which saw her lose custody of her two sons to Federline.

Her latest public appearance also comes after Spears’ family criticised TV host Dr Phil McGraw for speaknig to the media about her fragile mental condition.

It was claimed that during a phone call to a relative, the photographer said he had deep feelings for the star, insisting they had discussed marriage.

Britney also apparently chipped during the phone call and said: “We’re taking care of each other. He’s the only one who understands me. It’s serious.”

PETA’s Dan Matthews says, “At this point, Britney needs a break - from everybody. Maybe when her head is clear, she’ll have a change of heart about wearing fur. Britney Spears has had her car impounded after abandoning it in the middle of the road.

According to People magazine, the singer left her white Mercedes on a road in Brentwood, California, after she got a flat tire.

Lt David Grimes of the Los Angeles Police Department, West LA, said: “Ms Spears’s car was impounded.

“Officers on the scene told me it was blocking the roadway, and that it was unsafe enough to leave at the location.”

“It was towed by a private company that’s contracted with the city. Her car is being held at the official police garage tow yard.”

Grimes also said: “There’s not a hold on the vehicle. She just needs to show up to obtain it. She’ll have to pay tow fees, and that total cost depends on how many days she leaves it there. But she won’t get any citations or fines.”

Spears reportedly accepted a lift from a paparazzo who was trailing her after she decided to abandon her car.
