Filming has begun on the set of the new biopic “Cadillac Records” starring Beyoncé Knowles as the legendary soul singer Etta James. The film tells the story of Chess Records, the Chicago record label that played a pivotal part in Rock n’ Roll history.

Kanye West posted on his blog for the first time since the untimely death of his mother, Dr. Donda West, after plastic surgery in early November. He titled the entry “Thank you all for your support,”. Kanye didn’t get into the details about the tough time he went through or his mother’s passing.
