Hollywood beauty Jessica Alba is pregnant with her first child, it was announced today (wed). The Sin City star and boyfriend Cash Warren will become parents next summer. Alba’s spokesman Brad Cafarelli confirmed the news to a US magazine. Cafarelli said: “I confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer.” Alba, 26, has dated Warren, 28, since autumn 2004 after they met on the set of The Fantastic Four. He was working as a director’s assistant on the action flick. She recently told how she was going on an eight-and-half month break from movies - but denied it was maternity leave. She said earlier this month: “I’ve worked the last two and a half years without stopping. “This is the time to do it.” Before the pregnancy announcement she had been in talks to make her Broadway debut this summer in a revival of David Mamet play, Speed The Plow in role of Karen - the part played by Madonna in the same play in 1998. Alba and Warren have been photographed shopping for mattresses in Los Angeles in the last week, and were seen at a Lakers basketball game where they were spotted kissing. Jessica recently said she was planning to take eight months off work, but didn’t specify why. Jessica Alba was voted the Most Desirable Women by readers of Askmen.com in 2006. She was placed No 2 by Maxim Magazine in their Top 100 list in 2007.
