February 13th, 2007 Madonna wins Fashion Icon of the World award - have they seen what she’s got on lately?

Perhaps someone had too many Mallomars?

Madonna won the title of world’s top fashion icon at the Elle Style Awards last night (12.02.07).

The 48-year-old singer - who is about to launch her own designer clothing range, M by Madonna, through high street store H and M - was honoured for her experimental and ever-changing style throughout her phenomenal music career.

Okay, for real. She got awards for THIS?

Oh, well, by all means let’s give her an award for wearing orthopedic support hose. I’m going to run out and buy some right now.
